Write to Unite
The Write to Unite program is hosting a one-day writing retreat on June 20th at Mosher Alumni. This gives you enough time to take a deep breath/break after spring quarter and commencement celebrations.
Write to Unite is part of our year-long Write on Site program. Write on Site (WOS) offers focused, positive writing spaces for faculty, postdocs, staff, and librarians. Writing includes things like brainstorming ideas, working on articles or proposals, incorporating reviewer comments, working on tables, grants and more (but not service/teaching stuff like committee reports or creating syllabi). The point of WOS is to be a supportive, fun, nonjudgmental environment with few distractions. We write together for support and additional focus, but we don't typically read and give feedback on each other's writing. We ask for a minimum of 30 minutes. You will be surprised how much you can get done in just 30 minutes.
