Professor Aida Hurtado, Luis Leal Endowed Chair in Chicana/o Studies, has been named the 2020 Heritage Awardee honored by the American Psychological Association (APA). The award recognizes Professor Hurtado's "distinguished, long-standing and substantial contributions to women and/or gender issues." We join our colleagues in congratulating her and thanking Professor Hurtado for her profound impact on Chicana/o/x, Latina/o/x scholarship over the full course of her career!
