Lior Sepunaru

Lior's research focuses on bioelectronics and electrocatalysis at both the macro and nanoscale, including bio-nanoelectrochemistry, single-entity biophysics, nano-electrochemistry, electron transfer, and enzyme catalysis. He completed his post-doctoral studies as a Marie Curie research fellow at the University of Oxford, working under Prof. Richard G. Compton on bio-nanoelectrochemistry. He earned his Ph.D. from the Weizmann Institute of Science in 2014, where he focused on solid-state bioelectronics under the supervision of Prof. David Cahen and Prof. Mordechai Sheves. Lior's current work emphasizes the development of advanced biosensor applications.
