Nick Saglimbeni

Nick Saglimbeni is a PhD student in the VEG Lab at UCSB, where he has been involved since 2019, starting as an undergraduate volunteer and later working as a field technician. His current research focuses on optimizing restoration projects in coastal ecosystems dominated by the invasive Carpobrotus edulis (iceplant) and exploring restoration efforts in the context of changing fire regimes. Nick has also contributed to a variety of restoration projects across Southern California's diverse ecosystems.
